Alzheimer’s is one of the most dreaded diseases for good reason: its effects are well known, and for decades there have been no true treatment options. But that’s starting to change. MCI (mild cognitive impairment), AKA early Alzheimer’s, is often mistaken for normal signs of aging. The trick is to catch MCI early because that’s when it can be managed. This awareness campaign sought the help of family members and caretakers to notice changes in their loved ones and to take action. Because MCI is everyone’s business.
